Sharing With Love

All living things live on Mother Earth. We get the food that we eat from plants and animals. We should take care of them. Plants purify the air. We should grow more and more plants. Priyanka studies in class I A. She loves to water the plants. Her teacher told her that these plants would grow into trees and clean the air for us.

Oh! Look at this tree. It has grown big in just eight years. It gives a lot of shade. Can you see the flowers on the tree? Yes! Your tree will soon bear fruits, Priyanka. Kushagra loves to take care of birds. He has started keeping water for birds during the summer season.

He has few earthen bowls. Early in the morning, Kushagra fills the bowls with water and grains and leaves them in the garden and on the terrace. He greets his winged visitors. Tweet! Tweet! Cheep! Cheep!Cheep! Look at the sparrows, pigeons, crows and sometimes even parrots who have started coming to quench their thirst and satisfy their hunger.

Kushagra and Priyanka are now young nature scientists. They spread the message of sharing Mother Earth lovingly with other living beings. Both are waiting to see the trees they keep planting become homes of many birds. Oh! it would be so nice to get up in the morning to the sounds of birds singing in their nests!
