The Travelers And The Tree

Two men were walking along a summertime day. After some time the day becomes too hot to go any more and, after some time they saw a large tree nearby, then they threw themselves on the ground to rest in its shade.

Staring up into the branches one man said to the other man: “What an unusable tree this is. It does not have any berry or nuts that we can eat and we could not even use its wood for anything.”

“Don’t be so ungrateful,” said the tree in reply to the man. “I am being extremely beneficial to you at this very moment, sheltering you from the hot sun. And you are saying that I am good-for-nothing!”

Moral: - All of God’s creations have a good purpose behind their creation.
